In 2021 I was contracted to be lead artist (sculpture) to create a reef installation out of recycled plastics.
We used the plastic fusion method to create “pleather “ that was painted to resemble the fish species we created out of wire. Corals we created out of marine debris ropes, plastic food containers, bottles etc. The end result was spectacular and I am excited to working on this project again in 2022, where we will be extending the Immerse installation to include a pod of dolphins and dugongs. Just love this project. The Great Barrier Reef Festival is held at Airlie Beach in August.
